Role Description This is a part-time remote role for an Insurance Agent with LIC. The Insurance Agent will identify and connect with prospective clients, understand their financial protection needs, and recommend suitable LIC insurance products. Responsibilities include explaining policy features and benefits, assisting clients with applications and documentation, and supporting policy issuance and renewals. The Insurance Agent will maintain regular communication with clients, provide customer support, and help resolve basic policy-related queries. The role also involves meeting defined sales and service targets, keeping records updated, and coordinating with LIC offices or supervisors as needed. Qualifications • Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance to understand products and effectively advise clients. • Candidates should possess knowledge of Insurance Brokerage and Finance to support informed guidance on policy selection and financial planning. • Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to build long-term relationships and handle client queries professionally. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information in simple terms. • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently in a remote, part-time setting. • Basic computer literacy and comfort using digital tools for communication and documentation. • Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or sales is an advantage but not mandatory. • Minimum educational qualification in line with local regulatory requirements for insurance agents.
