Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Develop strategies to grow revenue while enhancing the consumer experience on DTC platform. - Devise and implement strategic direct marketing plans and programs for DTC business to ensure the profitable growth and expansion - Develop and execute performance marketing strategies to increase customer acquisition, retention, and conversion rates. Key objectives include maximizing new consumer acquisition levels and maintaining high levels of consumer retention. - Increase consumer acquisition through effective SEO, PPC, affiliate, insert programs, etc. - Develop programs to improve consumer retention rates based on clear segmentation - Anchor effective web merchandising strategies/plans to increase AOV, cross-sell, and up-sell - Monitor and optimize the entire store funnel, including sessions, add to carts, and conversions, to drive sales and revenue growth - Ensure the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring high delivery rates, open rates, and click-through rates - Drive and execute e-marketing tactics with emphasis on analytics, email, social, search, and content development for the web properties. - Develop and implement the direct digital/online marketing strategy, manage product selection, pricing strategy, promotions, and partnership opportunities - Partner the Brand and e-commerce merchandising teams to grow revenue through direct channels - Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement experiments, A/B tests, and conversion rate optimization initiatives to improve store performance. - Maintain strong relationships with external partners, including digital agencies, consultants, and vendors, to enhance overall store/channel performance. - Utilize data analytics to identify and measure key performance indicators, track trends, and uncover actionable insights. Ensure a culture of testing, measurement and results through the entire D2C team - Lead a team of professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the achievement of individual and team goals **Preferred candidate profile** - 5+ **years** of experience in **Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) / e-commerce business**, preferably in **beauty, personal care, or FMCG** - Proven experience in **scaling a brand digitally** (traffic, conversion, retention, revenue growth) - Exposure to **performance marketing** (Meta, Google, affiliates, influencers) - Experience managing **website (Shopify or similar)** + marketplaces (Nykaa, Amazon, etc.) - Hands-on with **CRM, acquisition, retention and lifecycle marketing** - Track record of **P&L ownership** and driving profitability
