The company markets its products under its two global brands – Apollo and Vredestein, and its products are available in over 100 countries through a vast network of branded, exclusive and multi-product outlets. **Job Title**: Manager/Group Manager - Product development (TBR) **Location**: Chennai R&D **Reports to (Position)**: Division Head **Department/Function**: **Number of Direct Reports (Solid Line)**: 0 **Number of Direct Reports (Dotted Line)**:2 **Number of Outsourced Reports**: **Purpose of the Job**: Responsible for development of new products, new technologies and enhance existing ones of tubeless category, by working with GRF, GIF teams, and key external stakeholders in order to have compliance with IATF 16949 and APDP standards. **Major Responsibilities**: Lead the development of new products and technologies, and upgrade existing lineups of tubeless category based on claim analysis or to meet improvement targets, working closely with GRF, GIF teams, and key external stakeholders (including Plant, Corporate, PTS, FTS, and Commercial functions). While ensuring full compliance with ECE R117, R54, DOT, EU Regulation 2020/740, IATF 16949, APDP, and all relevant legal and product standards. **Skills**: Analytical skills, Managerial skills, Good communication skills and knowledge in CAD **Relevant Experience**: More than 10 years experience in truck radial tyre development and manufacturing with Sound knowledge in tyre technology (especially tubeless products), tyre manufacturing and tyre testing **Education Qualification(s)**:Graduate in Polymer Technology, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
