Mechanical Engineer

Job description

Role & responsibilities • Assist in prototype development, product testing, validation, and performance improvement activities. • Analyze product performance, identify issues, and propose solutions for optimization. • Develop and execute engineering test plans, analyse test data, and prepare technical reports. • Participate in brainstorming sessions for product improvements and new product ideas. • Support team in conducting feasibility studies, product testing, and prototype creation. • Review engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, and technical documents for accuracy and compliance. • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for product failures and implement corrective and preventive actions. • Collaborate with teams from various departments to ensure timely and successful product launches. • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Suppliers to resolve technical issues. • Evaluate materials, methods, and component selection for performance, durability, and cost optimization. Preferred candidate profile • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. • Strong academic background with knowledge in product development processes. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in the field of product development. • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
