Role & responsibilities • Desired Competency on mechanical/electrical system component design, Integration application on IC engine level preferable • Hands on experience on Common rail system integration or Engine calibration or ATS calibration or Battery system integration for mobility application • Knowledge on Homologation requirements of Generators / vehicles • Initiate, Interact with CFT & Lead the design engineers for system integration to realise the required product functionality feature with Quality, Cost and Time. • Releasing all technical specification to suppliers for components/systems • Validating the components by making proper test cases in both component and application level so as to give issue free product to customer • Meeting the cost targets specified without compromising quality of the product and also bringing out some cost-effective solution thro VAVE or equivalent activities. • Knowledge on Field failure & analysis: Analysing on field reported concerns and giving solution to reduce/eliminate it and also capturing that particular issue in upcoming products. • Should have knowledge on working of BOM details of components • Must demonstrate a high degree of problem-solving ability, especially in the field of expertise. Usage of Quality tools, DFMEA,7 QC tools Design Reviews & Project management • Should have Moderate knowledge on DFA,DFS, QFD, APQP, PPAP, GD & T, • Partnering with R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology and Production to deliver successful plant trials and technology projects. • Providing subject matter expertise to guide NPI (new product introduction) and PIM (product information management) design, scale-up and implementation. • Strong leadership, stakeholder management and coordination capabilities, supported by a proactive mindset, enthusiasm and the ability to foster effective cross-functional collaboration Preferred candidate profile • Design domain expertise on electrical systems like Electrical system Architecture integration like ECU, Sensor, etc. • Moderate knowledge on all communication protocols like CAN, LIN & PWM. • Masters in Chemical/Engine • 1 granted patent • Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field. • Proven experience in manufacturing and production management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role • 5+ years of industrial EHS experience • Knowledge of EHS regulations and sustainability • Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP) a plus.
