Project Engineer

Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Handle complete project execution from budgeting to on-ground deployment - Plan timelines and arrange required resources efficiently - Lead and monitor teams to improve productivity and accountability - Take full ownership of P&L by controlling costs and improving margins - Coordinate with government officials to ensure smooth and timely execution - Quickly resolve operational and technical issues on the ground - Build and improve systems and processes for better service delivery - Manage clients, vendors, and internal teams effectively without delay - Ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are always met - Identify gaps and continuously improve operations for scale **Preferred candidate profile** - Graduated from Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical - With 3+ years of experience in Service or Project Management (Preffered : Railways) - Willingness to travel frequently for site visits across multiple domestic locations is required. - Strong communication skills to coordinate with teams, vendors, and management - Sharp problem-solving and analytical thinking with a street-smart approach - High ownership mindset with the ability to take quick decisions on ground - Strong organizational and time management skills to drive timely execution - Proven project management skills to deliver within scope, timelines, and budget - Ability to handle multiple stakeholders and manage priorities effectively - Execution-driven mindset with focus on results and speed - Adaptability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments Basic financial understanding for cost control and P&L tracking
