Position Network Operator cum Field Engineer Experience 2+ Years Educational Qualification • BE / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or related discipline • MCA • M.Sc (IT) • M.Sc (Computer Science) • OR 3-Year Diploma in Computer Science, Electronics, or Information Technology Job Summary We are seeking a Network Operator cum Field Engineer to support and maintain enterprise network and security infrastructure. The role involves administration of Zscaler solutions (ZIA/ZPA), Linux servers, network troubleshooting, server management, and providing onsite as well as remote technical support. The candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills and experience in network operations and infrastructure support environments. Key Responsibilities • Administer and support Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) solutions. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network connectivity and security-related issues. • Manage and maintain Linux servers, including routine health checks and troubleshooting. • Perform server administration, monitoring, patching, and maintenance activities. • Configure and support LAN/WAN environments and basic network infrastructure. • Coordinate with users, vendors, and support teams for incident resolution. • Perform onsite field support activities, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network devices. • Monitor network performance and ensure adherence to service levels. • Maintain technical documentation, incident logs, and operational procedures. • Participate in shift operations and provide support during planned maintenance or critical incidents. Required Technical Skills • Hands-on experience with Zscaler (ZIA and ZPA) • Linux Administration • Server Management and Troubleshooting • Basic Networking Concepts • LAN/WAN Support • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP • Routing and Switching Fundamentals • Incident and Problem Management • Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting Preferred Skills • Firewall administration • VPN technologies • Active Directory administration • Cloud security exposure • ITIL process awareness • Network Security fundamentals Desired Candidate Profile • Minimum 2 years of experience in Network Operations, Infrastructure Support, or Field Engineering. • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. • Good communication and stakeholder management skills. • Willingness to travel for onsite support activities as required. • Experience working in 24x7 support environments is an advantage.
