Role: Neurology Technician Location: Bangalore What You?ll Do: • Conduct electroencephalograms (EEGs), nerve conduction studies (NCS), electromyography (EMG), and evoked potential (EP) tests on patients. Set up and calibrate technical equipment and ensure accurate data collection during the tests. • Observe and monitor patients' vital signs, reactions, and responses throughout the diagnostic procedures. Ensure patient comfort and safety during the tests. • Analyze the collected data and prepare detailed reports for physicians and healthcare professionals. Identify abnormal patterns and deviations from normal brain and nerve function. • Clean, maintain, and calibrate neurodiagnostic equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results. Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate repairs if required. • Explain the procedures and tests to patients and address any concerns or questions they may have. Provide instructions for pre-test preparations and post-test care. • Collaborate and communicate effectively with physicians, neurologists, and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases, provide input, and assist in treatment planning. • Maintain accurate and organized patient records, test results, and reports. Adhere to confidentiality and privacy regulations. • Follow standardized protocols and procedures to maintain consistent and reliable testing results. Participate in quality control activities and assist in implementing improvement measures.
