This role will serve as a trusted partner to business leaders while driving employee engagement, culture, employee relations, and operational excellence across a fast-growing, high-visibility site.The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy solving complex people challenges, and be passionate about creating a positive employee experience while balancing business needs.**Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Partnership & Leadership Support** - Partner closely with site leaders and managers on day-to-day people-related matters. - Provide guidance on team effectiveness, workforce planning, role clarity, and performance management. - Support organizational growth and stabilization efforts during site expansion. **Employee Engagement & Culture** - Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. - Identify early signs of disengagement and implement proactive solutions. - Partner with leaders to reinforce DoorDash values and cultural expectations. **Employee Relations & Compliance** - Manage employee relations cases, investigations, conflict resolution, and escalations. - Ensure consistent application of company policies and adherence to labor laws. - Mitigate people risks through proactive problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration. **Organizational Effectiveness & Talent Management** - Support talent reviews, succession planning discussions, and manager capability development. - Assist leaders in making informed people decisions based on business priorities. - Recommend improvements to team structures, workflows, and people practices. **Change Management** - Guide employees and leaders through organizational changes, new processes, and evolving business needs. - Drive communication and adoption of change initiatives. **HR Operations Oversight** - Coordinate and prioritize the work of HR Generalists to ensure smooth execution of: - Onboarding - Employee support - Documentation - Policy administration - Employee issue resolution - Site-level HR processes - Analyze trends related to attrition, engagement, attendance, performance, and employee concerns. - Provide actionable recommendations to improve employee experience and business outcomes. **What Success Looks LikeFirst 30 Days** - Develop a strong understanding of the business, operation, and people strategy. - Build trusted partnerships with leaders and employees. - Gain visibility into current challenges and opportunities. **Within 90 Days** - Maintain healthy early-stage attrition metrics. - Drive strong employee engagement and positive workplace culture. - Demonstrate effective issue resolution with minimal escalations. - Identify and address people-related risks proactively. **Required Qualifications** - 6-10 years of progressive experience in HRBP/PBP roles. - Strong background in employee relations, employee engagement, manager coaching, and HR operations. - Experience supporting high-growth, operations-driven, site-based, or multi-shift environments. - Strong conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills. - Knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR compliance requirements. - Ability to influence leaders while remaining highly hands-on and execution-focused. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment. **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience supporting large-scale operations, BPO, shared services, technology operations, or customer support environments. - Experience managing HR activities within night-shift or 24x7 operations. - Proven track record of driving employee engagement and culture-building initiatives. **Why Join DoorDash?** - Opportunity to be part of a new and rapidly growing operation. - High visibility with business and people leaders. - Exposure to global teams and best-in-class HR practices. - Strong career growth opportunities in a scaling organization. - Work with high-caliber talent and make a direct impact on the employee experience.
