Project Lead (Plumbing & Fire Fighting)

Job description

Role & responsibilities 1.Design of Sprinkler, hydrant and gas based firefighting systems. 2.Hydraulic calculations for water supply/ storage and fire water demand and pressure. 3.Coordination with other MEP and structural services 4.Preparation of reports such as Design basis, concept, schematic etc., and technical specifications. 5.Complete accurate analysis and calculations, for each assigned task, ensuring that all system designs are optimized for performance, efficiency, and safety. 6.Resolve Customer concerns on assigned work and ensure that the responsiveness is never compromised. 7.Ensure Compliance of all Processes and become an enabler of their continual improvement. 8.Escalate issues (if any) to the Reporting Manager for the corrective and containment actions to be initiated on time. 9.Complete accurate analysis and calculations, for each assigned task, ensuring that all system designs are optimized for performance, efficiency, and safety. 10.Collaborates with more experienced Engineering and Design Colleagues to Ensure Customer Satisfaction by continually delivering Projects, on time and at the highest quality. 11.Resolve Customer concerns on assigned work and ensure that the responsiveness is never compromised. Preferred candidate profile 1. Hands-on exposure to US projects and applicable International Plumbing (IPC), American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) codes, International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) & NFPA-13, 14 & 20 Codes. 2. Revit, BIM360, Navisworks 3. Elite Sprinkler Hydraulic Calculation 4. Excel skills (a detailed understanding including the use of macros).
