Duties & Responsibilities • Manage the SCM process for brought-out parts. • Plan and execute purchasing activities to ensure timely procurement. • Possess sound knowledge of manufacturing processes, including casting and machining. • Prepare and analyze Zero-Based Costing (ZBC) for components. • Coordinate procurement of approximately 2,500 parts per month from a supplier base of 50+ vendors. • Convert PRs into POs within 3 days. • Resolve supplier quality-related issues in coordination with relevant teams. • Drive cost-saving initiatives through alternate sourcing and supplier development. • Demonstrate hands-on knowledge of CI casting and machining processes. • Possess strong negotiation, follow-up, and supplier management skills. Education & Work Experience Requirements • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. • Strong command of language and communication skills to manage diverse suppliers effectively. • Excellent negotiation, convincing, and follow-up skills. • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SAP. • Strong presentation skills for preparing and presenting weekly MIS reports and updates. • Ability to work under deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering high-quality support. • Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within defined guidelines, processes, and organizational practices.
