Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Python API Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Python development, API design, microservices architecture, and cloud-native applications. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and deploy robust RESTful APIs using Python. • Build and maintain backend services using FastAPI, Flask, or Django. • Develop scalable microservices and integrate with third-party systems. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features. • Optimize application performance, reliability, and security. • Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices. • Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs and services. • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions. Required Skills • Strong programming experience in Python for 5+ years • Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django. • Hands-on experience in developing REST APIs and microservices. • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. • Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB. • Knowledge of API authentication mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth2. • Experience with version control systems like Git. • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and Agile methodologies. Preferred Skills • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Domain PreferenceBanking / Financial Services / FinTech experience preferred.
