Senior Advocate Collections & Litigation Location: Karnataka Experience: 510 Years Engagement: Consultant Entity: NSPL – Exclusive Engagement Important: This is an exclusive consultant opportunity with NSPL. The role is specifically for supporting NSPL’s collection projects and legal requirements. Role Overview NSPL is looking to engage a Senior Advocate to support its collection projects and ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements. The candidate will handle litigation, recovery matters and provide legal support across collection-related cases. Key Responsibilities • Handle collection and recovery-related legal matters. • Represent NSPL before appropriate courts and legal forums. • Handle Section 138 and other recovery proceedings. • Draft and review legal notices, petitions, applications, replies and other legal documents. • Provide legal advice and strategy for collection and recovery cases. • Coordinate with courts, external advocates and internal stakeholders. • Track case progress and ensure timely legal action. • Handle matters relating to DRT, SARFAESI and Arbitration. • Ensure proper documentation and legal compliance. Eligibility • 5–10 years of post-qualification experience as an Advocate. • Mandatory: Karnataka Bar Membership. • Kannada-speaking local candidate / Kannadiga preferred. • Strong litigation and recovery experience. • Section 138 experience highly preferred. • Experience in DRT, SARFAESI and Arbitration is an advantage.
