Location: Bangalore/Chennai/Mumbai About the role The Labour Team Lead is responsible for managing labour operations across multiple locations in a particular region. The role involves workforce planning, labour law compliance, contractor management, employee relations, and ensuring efficient deployment of labour resources to support business operations Responsibilities 1. Labour Operations Management: Oversee labour deployment across all regional locations; ensure adequate manpower availability based on operational requirements; monitor labour productivity and optimize workforce utilization. 2. Compliance & Labour Laws: Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory regulations; coordinate with legal and HR teams regarding labour-related matters; manage documentation related to labour contracts, wages, and statutory benefits. 3. Contractor & Vendor Management: Manage relationships with labour contractors and staffing agencies; evaluate contractor performance and ensure service quality; ensure contractors comply with company policies and labour regulations. 4. Workforce Planning: Develop regional-level labour strategies aligned with business growth; forecast labour requirements and coordinate recruitment through contractors or agencies. 5. Employee Relations: Address labour grievances and disputes in coordination with HR; promote a positive and safe working environment; facilitate communication between management and labour workforce. 6. Cost Control & Budgeting: Monitor labour costs and optimize expenses; implement cost-effective labour management practices without compromising productivity. 7. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare labour management reports and dashboards; track KPIs such as attendance, productivity, turnover, and compliance. Qualifications - Graduation or Post-Graduation in Any Field - Additional certification in labour law or industrial relations is preferred. - 3-8 years of experience in labour management, workforce operations, or industrial relations. - Experience managing large labour forces across multiple locations.
