Senior General Manager (Education Leasing)

Job description

**Preferred candidate profile** - 10+ years of progressive experience in educational institution Leasing (school/college/universities) or alternate real estate acquisition/disposition. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute comprehensive real estate acquisition and leasing strategies across the alternate assets and education vertical. - Proactively discover and secure running schools, colleges, and universities available for lease or sale. - Partner directly with landowners to identify, negotiate, and acquire suitable land parcels for new educational developments. - Initiate and manage high-value Built-to-Suit opportunities by connecting private landowners with educational institutional clients. - Act concurrently as both landlord/seller agent and tenant/buyer agent, expert-level negotiating business terms for land, office, and commercial properties. - Review, analyze, and interpret complex financial analysis templates, including cash flow projections, NPV, and IRR analyses to back client decisions. - Lead negotiation processes through field brokers, and directly manage complex leases, lease amendments, and timely renewals. - Cultivate deep corporate relationships across diverse educational formats (domestic/international schools, coaching institutes) to map and solve their space requirements. - Lead, coach, and manage a mix of direct and matrix reports, overseeing functional area planning, performance appraisals, and resource optimization
