Senior Manager - Broiler Integration

Read on… **What makes the role meaty?** The job involves managing multiple broiler integration branches spread across 4-5 States. The key stakeholders for the role holder shall be the members in operations spread across Head Office, support functions and within different verticals of the company. Having experience of managing multi-state broiler integration experience is must. **Responsibilities** - ***Vendor Management and Engagement:*** Assist in fixing vendors (Chicks, Feed, Medicine & Vaccination), engaging with the current vendors and help in making the sourcing process more efficient. Build relationship with suppliers and ultimately help the company grow. - **Sourcing *plans*** *:* Prepare and execute annual operating plan for the integration branches. Suggest improvements in the current plan aiming for high performance (FCR, Mortality), meat quality and profitability. Should be aware of the market trend and the industry requirement for the product. Should be able to provide strategic sourcing insights. - ***Negotiations:*** Negotiate with the suppliers for quantity, price, and delivery schedules. Responsible for renegotiating on new contracts if anything changes. - ***Communication* :** Should be able to download the information down the line and vice versa to the sourcing manager and within the department and the vendors. He/she should be able to spot trends and develop solutions proactively. - ***Vendor Connect:*** Liking for engaging with vendors (Hatching Eggs, Chicks, Feed, M&V), collaborating with them as their partner, and building trust. - ***Farmers Connect:*** Willing to work and engage with farmers to maintain strict bio-security requirements and implement Licious quality standards - ***Analytics:*** Ability to understand operations and be able to identify and improve important metrics (cost, quality) - ***Experience:*** 10+ Years experience in integrated chicken organisation, and with knowledge of the multiple Indian languages (preferred, not mandatory). Deep understanding of the product or willingness to learn. - ***Education:*** Preference to members with education in B.E./B.Tech./BVSC/BSc.; supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or similar field but not mandatory.
