Read on… What makes the role meaty ?Strategic Sourcing & Supply Networ • kDevelop and execute the long-term sourcing strategy for chicken procurement aligned with business growth objectives • .Build a resilient, scalable, and cost-efficient sourcing ecosystem through contract farming, poultry integrators, and strategic supplier partnerships • .Lead supplier segmentation, commercial negotiations, long-term contracts, and vendor development initiatives • .Monitor poultry market dynamics, feed prices, disease risks, seasonality, and regulatory changes to proactively manage sourcing risks • .Build contingency sourcing strategies to ensure uninterrupted supply . Parent Farming & Integrati • onLead the establishment of Licious’ parent farming capability from the ground u • p.Define the roadmap for breeder operations, genetic sourcing strategy, hatchery planning, and long-term integratio • n.Build partnerships with industry stakeholders to strengthen upstream supply capabilitie • s.Drive biosecurity, productivity, and operational excellence across farming operation s. Processing Capacity & Network Expans • ionDevelop the long-term roadmap for processing capacity expansion to support business grow • th.Collaborate with Operations and Manufacturing teams to improve throughput, yield, productivity, and capacity utilizati • on.Identify automation and process improvement opportunities across the sourcing and processing netwo rk.No te: Licious Processing Centres focus on processing, cutting, deboning, packaging, and dispatch. We hope that you • have...10+ years of progressive experience in Poultry, Chicken Sourcing, Procurement, Integrated Poultry Operations, Agribusiness, or Food Manufa • cturing.Strong experience managing large poultry sourcing ecosystems, contract farming, integrators, or vertically integrated poultry ope • rations.Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, supplier development, and procurement transfo • rmation.Experience leading large cross-functional teams across multiple geog • raphies.Proven track record of scaling operations, improving cost structures, and driving operational exc • ellence.Experience with parent farming, breeder operations, hatcheries, processing, or integrated poultry businesses will be highly pr eferred.
