Greetings from TATA MOTORS !! We are currently hiring for a Senior Manager - Powertrain Production - Machine Shop for our PV facility at Sanand, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. JD as follows: Job roles & responsibilities • CNC Programming, Job setting/Component trials on HMC machines as per process requirement • CMM report analysis & corrections • Process Issues / Quality issues Resolution related to engine assembly and testing. • SPC implementation, Control Chart monitoring for parameters, Cp Cpk & Pp ,Ppk evaluation & Monitoring to bring them under our targets of preparing a stable and capable process. • New model Machining set up, line setup and ramp up • Capacity improvements through debottlenecking and improvements • Rejection system-implementation of zero rejection concept • Revenue cost reduction initiatives for implementation and practice Improvement idea generation and implementation • Interaction with all support functions and concern resolution with the help of CFT • Generate Safety working culture • Develop improvement of culture • Knowledge of Quality systems and adherence • Implementation of TPM in Machining • Driving Tool cost reduction, Power cost Reduction & productivity improvement projects • Liaison with Manufacturing and Quality for DWM issues and resolution. TPM, 5S, & system knowledge Education, Skills & Experience • Machining Process, like Honing, Milling, Boring, • Thorough Knowledge of HMC Machining center, Programming, Tool correction, Understanding of Fanuc, Siemens Controls • Knowledge of Machining, Cutting Tool • Thorough CNC Programming understanding & capability of Preparing of Program • Basic Machine systems • Knowledgeable about various milling, drilling, reaming grinding, finish boring operations • Use of Quality Tools • DWM Approach • Sound Knowledge of SPC, MSA & PFMEA. • People Management / IR issue handling / conflict Management • Work experience of MOST, Work content reduction • Sound knowledge of Engine Mechanism & Function • Experience of Machining Processes and Production management • Should be aware of TPM Principles and application • Sound knowledge about CMM & GD & T • Knowledge of Cutting Tools, Casting, Latest trend in cutting tools & Machine tool. • Knowledge/working experience of Quality systems If your profile meets the above description and if you would like to apply, please share you updated resume and the following details to sujoy.bhattacharya@tatamotors.com 1.
