Job description

Role Purpose: Lead contract management for procurement and sourcing, ensuring commercially sound and legally robust agreements with suppliers and vendors. Key Responsibilities: • Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of supplier agreements (raw materials, capex, logistics, tolling, service contracts) • Partner with procurement and supply chain teams on sourcing strategies and contract structuring • Identify commercial and legal risks; propose mitigation strategies (pricing, liability, indemnity, delivery terms, etc.) • Standardize contract templates and drive contracting efficiency across plants • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal governance policies • Manage contract lifecycle (execution, renewals, amendments, performance tracking) • Support dispute resolution, claims, and vendor escalations • Collaborate with finance, operations, and quality teams on contractual obligations Key Requirements: • LLB / LLM from a reputed institution • 3-8 years of experience in contract management, preferably in manufacturing / industrial sector • Strong expertise in commercial contracts, procurement, and supply agreements • Proven negotiation and stakeholder management skills • Understanding of regulatory and compliance aspects relevant to manufacturing • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in a plant environment
