Store Executive

Job description

Role & responsibilities • Manage material inward, outward, storage, and inventory control activities. • Ensure uninterrupted material availability for production as per production plans. • Maintain stock accuracy through cycle counting and physical verification. • Prepare GRN, material issue slips, stock reconciliation, and inventory reports. • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams for timely replenishment. • Ensure proper storage, identification, and traceability of materials. • Follow FIFO/FEFO practices and maintain warehouse discipline. • Update material transactions in SAP/ERP systems accurately. • Coordinate with Production, Quality, Logistics, and Purchase departments. • Monitor slow-moving and non-moving inventory and recommend corrective actions. • Implement 5S, safety standards, and continuous improvement initiatives in stores. • Support internal and external audits related to inventory and store operations. Preferred candidate profile • Graduate/Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. • 2-5 years of experience in Store, Warehouse, Inventory, or SCM functions within the Automotive/Manufacturing industry. • Hands-on experience in material receiving, storage, issuance, and inventory management. • Working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems and inventory transactions. • Strong understanding of stock reconciliation, cycle counting, and physical inventory audits. • Experience in managing production line material supply and coordination with procurement and logistics teams. • Good knowledge of FIFO/FEFO, 5S, warehouse management, and inventory control practices. • Proficient in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, MIS reporting). • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet operational targets. • Candidates from Automotive OEMs, Auto Component Manufacturing, or Engineering industries will be preferred.
