Role Overview The Team Lead Pre-Due Collections (2W) will be responsible for leading the pre-due collections function for Battery Smart's two-wheeler subscription portfolio. The role focuses on ensuring proactive customer engagement before payment due dates, driving timely repayments, minimizing first-time delinquency, and maintaining a healthy customer portfolio. The incumbent will lead a team of collection executives, monitor collection performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives while delivering an excellent customer experience. Key Responsibilities • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Pre-Due Collection Executives to achieve collection targets. • Ensure proactive customer outreach through calls, WhatsApp, SMS, and other approved channels before payment due dates. • Drive collection efficiency, payment conversion, and reduction in first-time delinquency (FTD). • Monitor portfolio health, identify high-risk accounts, and initiate preventive actions. • Track team productivity and collection KPIs through regular MIS and performance dashboards. • Resolve customer payment-related queries by coordinating with Operations, Finance, Customer Support, Risk, and Product teams. • Conduct coaching sessions, quality audits, and performance reviews to improve team effectiveness. • Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and collection processes. • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation of new collection initiatives. Educational Qualification • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline. • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred. Key Skills & Competencies • Strong team management and leadership skills. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management abilities. • Good understanding of collections, customer lifecycle, and delinquency management. • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with data-driven decision-making. • Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM/collection management tools. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. • High level of ownership, accountability, and process orientation.
