Job Title Team Member - Central SOX Team - Finance (IFC) Business Unit Finance Reporting To Team Leader - IFC & FATCA Job Function and Role Type SOX/IFC Compliance, Individual Contributor Version No 2.0 Job Purpose Ensure SOX & IFC compliance as required under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and Indian Companies Act 2013. Support FATCA & CRS implementation and reporting to CBDT. Key Responsibilities FATCA/CRS compliance Analyze and interpret FATCA/CRS laws. Advise internal departments and liaise with consultants. Reconcile data and reports across periods. Due diligence process Advise on remediation of accounts and document preparation. Guide foreign branches on FATCA/CRS rules and forms. System enhancement Define system requirements and additional fields. Develop logics for identifying reportable customers. Review of form 61 B Verify and review Form 61 B for completeness. Upload returns on the CBDT reporting portal. SOX & IFC Regulatory update Ensure compliance with SOX 404 internal controls. Planning Ensure Planning responsibilities are completed. Documentation Ensure Documentation responsibilities are completed. Review of SOX processes Identify deficiencies and recommend improvements. Report design deficiencies to senior management. Coordination Assess ITGC applications and financial implications. Map GLs to processes and review trial balance scoping. Update and prepare process flows and RCMs. Collaborate with Internal/External Audit and process owners. Education: Chartered Accountant. Certifications: None specified.
