Training Manager – Global Engineering Centers (GECs)Location Vadodara, India (scope : GEC India & GEC Poland) Reports to Trafoschool Manager Position Overview The Training Manager – GECs owns the training and capability development strategy for the engineering population within the Global Engineering Centers (GECs) (India and Poland), ensuring consistent deployment of TrafoSchool global training initiatives aligned with business priorities. The role proactively defines the GEC training roadmap based on skills & competence assessments, KPI trends, and identified capability gaps—anticipating needs and shaping targeted interventions rather than relying only on expressed requests. The role uses Cornerstone (CSOD) to deploy learning paths, assign trainings, track completion and certifications, and provide KPI reporting and evidence of capability improvement. In addition, the role coordinates the face-to-face training logistics at the GEC in India (Vadodara), covering on-site arrangements and execution support. Key Responsibilities1) Training Strategy & Capability Roadmap (GECs) - Define and maintain a GEC training strategy and roadmap (India + Poland), aligned with TrafoSchool priorities and capability objectives. - Translate strategy into learning paths and prioritized interventions per role/seniority, with measurable outcomes. - Actively challenge the status quo to ensure training is impact-driven and aligned with competence gaps, not just demand-driven. 2) Assessment-Driven Needs Definition (Skills & Competence) - Use skills & competence assessment outcomes to identify gaps by role/team/site and define prioritized actions. - Anticipate upcoming capability needs based on trends and recurring issues, and bake those into the roadmap. - Ensure the engineering population has competencies required for both effective delivery and professional evolution. 3) Training Implementation & Coordination (GECs) - Collect, coordinate, and execute training needs for engineering teams across GEC India and GEC Poland, ensuring alignment with global priorities and strategic objectives. - Ensure successful rollout of global training initiatives—including technical curricula, skills assessments, and competence mapping—across GEC engineering teams. - Collaborate with Local Engineering Managers and GEC Managers in India and Poland to align training execution with capability-building goals. - Track and report training KPIs using TrafoSchool data to monitor adoption, effectiveness, and impact. 4) Program, Curriculum & Content Enablement - Support deployment and continuous improvement of global technical training programs for GEC engineering teams. - Ensure content relevance and alignment with competence and career development frameworks. - Create continuous improvement loops using assessment results, delivery outcomes, and stakeholder feedback. 5) Provider Orchestration - Identify and manage external providers as needed (vendor selection, scope definition, delivery alignment, quality control). - Ensure training packages, templates, and readiness standards are applied consistently across GECs. 6) Stakeholder Engagement (GECs) - Act as the key liaison between TrafoSchool and GEC stakeholders to ensure consistent implementation of training strategies and alignment with global priorities. - Promote alignment and knowledge sharing across GEC locations and the wider training network. 7) CSOD Enablement, KPI Tracking & Reporting - Use CSOD to operationalize learning plans, track completion/certifications, and produce KPI reporting. - Convert KPI signals into corrective actions: adjust learning paths, sequencing, and priorities based on effectiveness and gaps. 8) Face-to-Face Training Logistics — GEC India (Vadodara) - Oversee logistics of face-to-face training sessions hosted in Vadodara, including local setup, facilities/room layout, local arrangements, HSE compliance, and communication with participants and trainers. Qualifications - Experience in training coordination or program implementation, preferably in a technical or engineering environment. - Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills, with ability to operate across sites. - Working knowledge of learning platforms and KPI tracking tools, including CSOD. - Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, cross-functional setting.
