Role & responsibilities • Conduct financial due diligence and Quality of Earnings reports for buy-side and sell-side transactions for PE, VC, family-owned businesses and corporate clients • Analyze financial and operational results to prepare Quality of Earnings reports • Prepare detailed financial analysis that will help our clients to evaluate acquisitions decisions and financing arrangements • Evaluate financial information to identify issues/opportunities and recommend post-acquisition measures • Work closely with clients, investment banks, PE investors, attorneys and other key stakeholders under the supervision of US-based project leads • Participate in client meetings to gather data and valuable information to perform financial analysis work Basic Qualifications: • Bachelors or masters degree in accounting, business or finance from an accredited university. • Chartered Accountant or CFA certification is preferred • 3+ years of post-qualification experience in transaction advisory services in a top-tier accredited public accounting or consulting firm • Strong technical accounting knowledge of US GAAP Preferred/Desired Qualifications: • Strong project management skills • Strong oral presentation and written communication skills • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills • Experience in working and communicating with mid-level accounting and/or deal related professionals in the US • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with the client as well as internally • Attention to detail, deadlines and working efficiently • Able to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Flexibility in daily work schedule to be available for occasional client time-sensitive requests or deliverables
