Assistant Manager (Procurement) - Solar/Transmission Line

Job Title: Assistant Manager - Procurement (Solar / Transmission Line) Location: Bhopal (Head Office) Experience: 6-10 Years Industry: Solar EPC / Transmission Line Projects Key Responsibilities • Manage procurement of materials and equipment for Solar EPC and Transmission Line projects. • Procure key Solar components such as PV Modules, Inverters, Module Mounting Structures (MMS), HT/LT Cables, Transformers, SCADA, Switchgear, and other Balance of System (BoS) materials. • Procure key Transmission Line materials such as Transmission Line Towers, Conductors, OPGW, Insulators, Hardware Fittings, Earth Wire, Tower Accessories, Foundations-related materials, and other transmission components. • Prepare and manage RFQs, comparative statements, purchase orders, and contracts. • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials in line with project schedules. • Coordinate closely with Engineering, Project Execution, Planning, Stores, and Finance teams for procurement planning and execution. • Maintain procurement documentation, purchase records, MIS reports, and vendor databases. Preferred Experience • 610 years of procurement experience in Utility-Scale Solar EPC Projects and/or Transmission Line Projects. • Knowledge of MNRE guidelines, ALMM requirements, DISCOM procedures, transmission project procurement practices, and EPC tendering processes will be an added advantage. Qualification • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. • MBA in Supply Chain Management / Operations will be preferred.
