This full-time on-site role, based in South Goa, includes supervising cash operations, account opening, transaction processing, and customer service activities. The position involves managing branch staff, monitoring operational risk, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with internal teams for smooth audit and reporting processes. The Branch Operation Manager will also drive process improvements, support sales and cross-selling initiatives, and ensure efficient use of digital channels to enhance customer experience. The role requires consistent engagement with customers, timely resolution of operational issues, and adherence to performance and efficiency targets. **Qualifications** - Strong branch banking operations skills, including cash management, transaction processing, and account servicing. - Knowledge of retail banking products such as microfinance, MSME loans, housing loans, and other asset and liability products. - Experience with regulatory compliance, risk management, and internal controls in a banking environment. - Ability to lead and supervise teams, allocate work, and monitor performance effectively. - Proficiency in using core banking systems, digital banking platforms, and MS Office tools. - Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. - Bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, business administration, or a related field; a postgraduate degree or banking certification is an advantage. - Prior experience in branch operations or banking roles, preferably in rural or semi-urban markets. - Comfort working on-site in South Goa and engaging with diverse customer segments.
