Roles and Responsibilities • Conduct risk identification, hazard analysis, and HIRA to identify potential safety risks in the workplace & Mine Premises. • Comply statutory and Safety, Health and Environment policy requirements • Develop and implement effective safety management systems, including incident investigation procedures and emergency response plans. • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to industrial safety. • Perform regular safety inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for mitigation. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop job safety analyses (JSAs) and conduct work permit system reviews. • Preparation of the annual and monthly Safety Management plan • Provide adequate supply of PPEs and other safety items for safe work environment • Implement SOP, Risk Assessment and Management directives • Monitor PPE implementation at Mines to reduce incidents/ accidents to reduce injury • Initiate corrective/ preventive action for any safety noncompliance/ deviations/ violation • Conduct regular Mock drill safety preparedness during emergency • Conduct Hazard analysis & risk assessment of each activity • Analyze Injury rate, Severity rate, frequency rate, LTI & prepare MIS report Desired Candidate Profile • B.Tech / B.E. degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized institution & First Class Mine Manager Competency Certificate from DGMS. • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, safety management systems, accident investigation techniques, HSE documentation practices.
