This diverse platform provides professionals with opportunities to work on varied financial products and innovative customer-focused initiatives. **Role Description** This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Ahmedabad. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for acquiring new customers across retail, SME, and corporate segments, and deepening relationships with existing clients to drive portfolio growth. Daily activities include identifying and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings, presenting banking products and solutions, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams (operations, credit, risk, and product) to ensure smooth account opening, documentation, and service delivery. The Business Development Manager will monitor market trends and competitor activity, prepare regular sales and pipeline reports, and ensure adherence to all regulatory and internal compliance standards while meeting assigned business targets. **Qualifications** - Proven skills in client acquisition, relationship management, and account management, with the ability to build and sustain long-term customer relationships. - Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills, with experience in consultative selling of financial products or services. - Solid understanding of banking products such as retail loans, SME products, transaction banking, and liability products; exposure to cross-selling is an advantage. - Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess client needs, evaluate financial data, and structure appropriate solutions. - Ability to work in a target-driven environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage time efficiently in a field-focused role. - Familiarity with CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and basic digital banking platforms. - Bachelor’s Degree must. - Prior experience in business development, sales, or relationship management in banking, NBFCs, or financial institution.
