We are currently hiring for **Head of Technology - Corporate & Transaction Banking** **Role Details** The Head of Corporate Banking & Transaction Banking Technology is accountable for the **end‑to‑end ownership, stability, modernization, and regulatory compliance** of technology platforms supporting **Corporate Banking and Transaction Banking** . The role ensures **high availability, resilience, regulatory adherence, and business enablement** of mission‑critical platforms covering **Corporate Lending, Cash Management Services (CMS), Payments, Trade Finance, Corporate Channels, APIs, and Client Connectivity** , while driving automation, scalability, and cost efficiency. - No. of employees handled – 70+ **Overall Job Description** 1. Ownership & Strategy · Own end‑to‑end delivery and operations of **Corporate Banking and Transaction Banking applications** , including: - Corporate Lending & Limits - Cash Management Systems - Payments (NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, SWIFT) - Trade Finance systems - Corporate Internet Banking & Channels - Host‑to‑Host, ERP, API and partner integrations · Define and execute the **CB & TB technology roadmap** aligned to corporate business growth, digital strategy, and regulatory expectations. · Drive modernization through **API‑first architecture, straight‑through processing (STP), automation, and cloud readiness** . 2. Application Delivery & Change Management - Ensure timely and high‑quality delivery of business, regulatory, and client‑driven initiatives. - Govern SDLC, release management, cut‑over and rollback processes to ensure zero disruption to corporate clients and payment cut‑offs. - Lead large transformation programs such as platform upgrades, payment modernization, trade digitization, and architecture rationalization. 3. Production Stability & Operations - Accountable for **24x7 availability, performance, and resilience** of all Corporate & Transaction Banking platforms. - Drive reduction in **client‑impacting incidents, payment failures, cut‑off breaches, and repeat issues** . - Ensure robust **capacity planning, monitoring, observability, DR readiness, and RTO/RPO compliance** for high‑volume transaction systems. 4. Regulatory, Audit & Risk Management - Ensure compliance with RBI, FEMA, AML, Payments, Trade, and Information Security regulations relevant to Corporate and Transaction Banking. - Own audit readiness, timely closure of audit observations, and sustained control effectiveness. - Partner with Risk, Compliance, ISG, Operations, and Internal Audit teams to proactively manage technology risk in client‑critical platforms. 5. Vendor & Commercial Management - Govern strategic vendors and system integrators for CBS platforms. - Drive **vendor performance KPIs, SLA adherence, cost optimization, and capability insourcing** . - Lead contract reviews, renewals, and commercial negotiations. 6. Stakeholder & Business Partnership - Act as a trusted technology partner to Corporate Banking, Transaction Banking, Operations, Treasury, Risk, and Digital teams. - Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant technology solutions. - Provide clear, decisive communication to senior leadership during incidents, regulatory matters, and major deliveries. 7. Team Leadership & Capability Building - Lead and mentor large teams across development, support, testing, integration, and architecture. - Build strong internal capability across payments, trade, CMS, APIs, security, and operations resilience. - Drive a performance culture focused on ownership, quality, accountability, and client impact. **Essential Skills** Technical & Domain Skills - Deep expertise in Corporate Banking and Transaction Banking platforms, high‑volume transaction processing, and real‑time payments. - Strong understanding of Corporate Lending, Cash Management, Payments, Trade Finance, GL, Limits, and Regulatory Reporting. - Experience with payments ecosystems (NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, SWIFT), host‑to‑host connectivity, APIs, and enterprise integrations. - Strong exposure to high availability, DR architectures, observability, security controls, and automation. - Working knowledge of DevOps, automation testing, performance engineering, and cloud fundamentals. Leadership & Behavioural Skills - Strong ownership mindset for **mission‑critical platforms** . - Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills. - High decisiveness during incidents and regulatory matters. - Ability to drive change across large, cross‑functional teams. **Education and Work Experience Requirements:** **EDUCATION** · Engineering degree; MBA or banking certifications preferred. **WORK EXPERIENCE** · 18+ years of IT experience with **8–10+ years in Corporate Banking and Transaction Banking applications leadership roles** .
