Consultant Gastroenterologist (DM/DrNB Gastroenterology)

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused Gastroenterologist to diagnose, treat, and manage diseases related to the digestive system, including the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder. The candidate will provide both outpatient and inpatient care while delivering evidence-based treatment and advanced endoscopic procedures. Key Responsibilities • Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and biliary disorders. • Manage OPD, IPD, and emergency gastroenterology cases. • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including: • Upper GI Endoscopy • Colonoscopy • ERCP • Sigmoidoscopy • Endoscopic interventions • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care. • Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation. • Participate in clinical audits, quality initiatives, and NABH compliance activities. • Provide patient education regarding disease management and preventive care. • Mentor junior doctors, residents, and clinical staff. • Participate in academic sessions, CMEs, and departmental meetings. Qualification Essential: • MBBS from a recognized Medical College. • MD/DNB (General Medicine). Super Specialty Qualification: • DM Gastroenterology or • DrNB Gastroenterology Experience • 0 to 10 years post DM/DrNB experience. • Fresh DM/DrNB candidates may also apply. • Experience in advanced endoscopic procedures will be preferred.
