Material Handler – Shift Lead Location: Bangalore Job Type: Full-time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Material Handler – Shift Lead to oversee warehouse operations, inventory, material movement, and shift teams. The ideal candidate should have strong warehouse operations experience, leadership skills, and the ability to manage people and processes efficiently. Key Responsibilities • Analyze shipment and warehouse logs. • Monitor the timeliness of scheduled deliveries. • Track inventory levels and materials dispensed to production. • Identify and suggest opportunities to improve productivity. • Optimize employee workflow and shift operations. • Track and monitor key warehouse KPIs. • Ensure warehouse equipment is properly maintained. • Coordinate and collaborate with other teams. • Train, guide, and evaluate new warehouse employees. • Supervise warehouse staff during assigned shifts. • Ensure proper receiving, storing, inventory updating, and issuing of materials. • Maintain warehouse security and operational standards. Requirements • Diploma or Bachelor's degree; Supply Chain background preferred. • 2–4 years of experience in warehouse operations. • Prior experience managing people in shifts. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Strong supervisory and leadership abilities. • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. • Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and inventory management systems. Physical Requirements • Comfortable sitting and standing for extended periods. • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (approximately 11 kg). • Physically agile and dexterous. • Ability to operate or handle Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
