Job description

**Who We Are** Licious is India's leading tech-first meat and seafood brand - built on the belief that what you eat should be fresh, safe and delightful. Behind that promise is a thriving technology organisation that powers everything from supply chain to consumer experience. We move fast, we build hard, and we hold ourselves to high standards. **The Context** Our Technology organisation is ambitious, fast-moving, and deliberate about how it grows - and the people agenda sits at the centre of that. This is not a role that exists to run HR processes - it exists to shape how a high-growth technology organisation is built. **What makes this role meaty?** You will be the dedicated HRBP for a 100+ engineering organisation, working directly with technology leaders and reporting into Director - People Experience. You will own four things deeply: **Org Health and Talent Density** - You will know the health of every critical role in the tech org - who is in it, how strong they are, and who could step up if needed. You will drive rigorous talent assessment and calibration, ensuring the right people are in the right roles at the right time. - You will build succession depth for key roles, review org structure regularly, and ensure that spans, layers and role clarity keep pace with how fast the business moves. **People Pulse and Lician Experience** - You will be the ear to the ground for the engineering team - running listening mechanisms, diagnosing what is driving engagement or attrition, and working with leaders to act on what you hear, not just report it. - You will own the rhythm of feedback, the quality of the manager-Lician relationship, and the everyday experience of being a Lician in tech - making sure people feel seen, heard and valued. **Leadership and Manager Capability** - You will partner on building the capability of people leaders in tech - from first-time managers finding their footing to senior leaders navigating complex org challenges. - You will support the rollout of structured capability programmes, coach managers in the flow of work, and hold leaders accountable to the standard of leadership Licious aspires to. **Culture and Change** - You will be the culture carrier for the tech org - the person who brings the Licious way of working to life, not just in big moments but in everyday interactions and conversations. - You will work in an environment of constant change and will need to help teams stay grounded, motivated and forward-looking through ambiguity - modelling the resilience you want to see in others. **We hope that you have...** **Experience** - 3-5 years in HR, with demonstrated HRBP experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment - Prior exposure to technology organisations or engineering teams strongly preferred - Experience partnering with managers and senior leaders on real people challenges - not just executing HR processes **What you bring** - Org design instinct - you understand how structure enables or constrains performance, and you can spot misalignment before it becomes a problem - Data fluency - you are comfortable with people metrics, can draw insight from numbers, and use data to influence decisions rather than just report them - High ownership - you pick things up and drive them to completion without being told; you are equally comfortable building from scratch and fixing what is broken - Resilience and comfort with ambiguity - things will change, priorities will shift, and you will need to adapt without losing momentum or confidence - Stakeholder credibility - you can hold your ground in a room full of senior engineers and earn trust through substance, not just relationship - Culture curiosity - you genuinely care about what it feels like to work somewhere, and you bring that curiosity into how you show up every day **Education** MBA / PGDM in HR preferred - learning agility and growth mindset matter more than pedigree. **Life at Licious** We are a team of people who care deeply - about the product, about each other, and about doing things right. At Licious, you will find a culture that values directness, rewards initiative, and makes room for people to grow faster than they expected. We are not a place where you wait for permission - we are a place where you build, learn, and own. The pace is real, the problems are hard, and the work is meaningful. If that excites you, you will fit right in!
