Manager/ Sr. Manager – Business Development - API Sales & Marketing JOB DESCRIPTION: Manager/ Sr. Manager – Business Development DEPARTMENT: API Sales & Marketing LOCATION: MSN Corporate Office, Hitech City, Hyderabad ROLE Manager/ Sr. Manager – Business Development RESPONSIBILITIES The person will be assigned a region / cluster of countries and responsible for Business Expansion in the assigned region - · New Customer Acquisition : Forge strategic partnerships with formulation manufacturers in the assigned region · Lead generation: AVD / NPD opportunities / Innovator Business · Key Account Management • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing pharmaceutical formulation clients to ensure high retention and repeat orders, aiming for larger share of spend from their wallet · Pricing Strategy: Formulate competitive pricing strategies, draft commercial proposals, and forecast regional sales revenue targets. · Market Intelligence: Track competitor activity, pricing shifts, and emerging therapeutic trends in target regulatory markets · Strategic Planning: Defining the strategic directions & growth drivers for the region & prepare 5 years Strat plan Besides this, other responsibilities can also be added based on business requirements. MANDATORY SKILLS: · 10-12 years of experience in API Sales & Marketing / BD function in reputed API companies · Exposure of working with international customers · Knowledge of API development & manufacturing · Good understanding of pharma regulatory and IP landscape · Good communication and stakeholder management skills · Strong analytical skills with command in Excel and PowerPoint · Ability to work and deliver in tight timelines · Excellent negotiation, commercial acumen, communication, relationship-building capabilities QUALIFICATIONS: B. Pharm / M. Pharm / B.Tech (Chem Engg) / MSc (Chemistry) / MBA
