Role: Payroll & Offboarding Experience: 3-7 years Location: Mumbai The Payroll Partner is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations while working closely with People & Culture and Finance teams. This role ensures accurate salary processing, statutory compliance, and a seamless employee experience related to compensation and benefits. Role & Responsibilties • Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for employees across India, US, Canada, UK, NL, Qatar and Singapore • Maintain and validate payroll inputs including attendance, leaves, new hires, exits, salary revisions and bonus payouts from Workday • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations such as PF, ESI, PT, TDS, gratuity, and labour laws • Coordinate with C&P Partners (HR Business Partners) and Finance for payroll inputs and reconciliations • Manage employee queries related to salary, bonuses & reimbursements on Qdesk • Support audits (internal/external) and maintain payroll documentation • Detect inconsistencies and helps ideate and implement real time frameworks and/or corrections in payroll operations • Support and later implement payroll automations to increase productivity • Handle Full & Final (F&F) settlements, including leave encashment, recoveries, exit letter releases and responses to ex-employees • Coordinate and ensure proper responses for payroll queries from ex-employees within defined TAT Required Skills • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Commerce, or related field • 3-7 years of experience in HR payroll and compensation operations • Strong understanding of payroll processes and statutory compliance • Hands-on experience with HRMS/payroll systems (e.g., Workday/ADP/PeopleStrong) • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Docs and Slides) • High attention to detail and accuracy • Strong numerical and analytical skills • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines • Critical thinking and good process understanding to catch errors in payroll inputs • Strong stakeholder communication and ability to resolve payroll queries with clarity and confidentiality • Ability to use GenAI tools for payroll automation, reporting, and employee communication drafting Good to Have • Experienced in handling large employee base payroll (10000 - 15000) • Knowledge of income tax regulations and investment declarations to quickly resolve queries • Exposure to payroll audits and compliance frameworks • Handled client-side payroll for customers • Knowledge of benefits (India and North America) and their integration into payroll will be a plus
