Job description

**Role Details:** The Portfolio Manager – Savings Account will be responsible for managing portfolio performance, driving analytics-led growth, and optimizing customer lifecycle strategies. The role will leverage data, AI, and digital capabilities to improve acquisition, engagement, and profitability across Savings Account segments. **Overall Job Description** **1. Portfolio Performance & Analytics** - Track and analyze CASA growth, balances, customer mix, and profitability - Build AI-driven dashboards for real-time monitoring of portfolio health - Use predictive analytics to identify trends in acquisition, churn, and engagement - Identify portfolio gaps and recommend data-backed interventions **2. Customer Lifecycle & Engagement** - Design and execute lifecycle campaigns (onboarding → activation → retention) - Use propensity models for targeted cross-sell / upsell opportunities - Deploy personalized engagement strategies using customer data insights - Analyze customer behavior to optimize funnel conversion and usage patterns **3. Digital & AI Enablement** - Leverage AI/ML tools for segmentation, campaign targeting, and performance tracking - Work with analytics teams to deploy Next Best Action (NBA) and recommendation engines - Use marketing automation platforms for personalized digital journeys - Support deployment of chatbots and conversational AI for customer engagement **4. Campaign & Revenue Optimization** - Plan and track acquisition and engagement campaigns across channels - Optimize campaign ROI using A/B testing and analytics - Drive fee income, float income, and cross-sell revenue **5. Stakeholder Collaboration** - Work closely with Product, Analytics, Marketing, Digital, and Sales teams - Act as a bridge between business and data science teams - Support frontline teams with insights, dashboards, and performance tracking **6. Governance & Reporting** - Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements - Prepare periodic business reviews, portfolio reports, and insights decks - Monitor campaign compliance and customer communication standards **7. Existing Portfolio Growth & Engagement Strategy** - Create and execute **Existing Book Growth strategy** through data-led portfolio interventions - Develop **analytics frameworks** for portfolio management, enabling segmentation, opportunity sizing, and performance tracking - Design **customer mapping strategies** to identify high-value segments, dormancy pockets, and cross-sell opportunities - Define **resource allocation models and engagement frameworks** to optimize RM/branch productivity and customer coverage - Drive execution of **key portfolio performance metrics** , including: - Customer coverage quality - Cross-sell penetration - Customer retention and attrition control - Usage and activation metrics - Build and execute **Direct-to-Customer (D2C) and RM-led campaign frameworks** , ensuring omni-channel engagement - Design **event-triggered engagement infrastructure** based on customer behavior, lifecycle stage, and transactional signals - Develop and implement **CRM-driven contact strategies** for Branch Banking, ensuring: - Structured customer outreach - Consistent engagement frequency - Improved conversion and relationship deepening **Education and Work Experience Requirements** **Education:** Preferred: MBA / PGDM (Finance / Marketing) **Work Experience:** - 2–5 years in banking / financial services / analytics roles - Experience in CASA / liabilities / portfolio management **Desired Behavioral / Functional Traits** - Strong analytical and data interpretation skills - Familiarity with SQL, Excel, Power BI / Tableau - Knowledge of customer lifecycle management and digital journeys - Strong problem-solving and execution focus
