Role Description The Program Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for guiding prospective and current learners through their education and career journey. Day-to-day responsibilities include counseling learners on suitable programs, explaining course structures, outcomes, and career paths, and supporting them in making informed enrollment decisions. The role involves handling inquiries via calls, emails, and walk-ins, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, and coordinating with academic and operations teams to ensure a smooth learner experience. The Program Counselor will also conduct information sessions, follow up with leads, provide regular updates to enrolled learners, and support retention initiatives. This position requires a learner-centric approach, strong communication, and a commitment to helping individuals meet their professional goals. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly and build trust with diverse learners. • Candidates should possess skills in counseling, academic advising, or career guidance, with a learner-focused approach to understanding individual goals and challenges. • Candidates should possess basic sales and relationship management skills, such as lead follow-up, needs assessment, and conversion of inquiries into enrollments. • Candidates should possess organizational and administrative skills, including CRM usage, data entry accuracy, documentation, and time management. • Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Office and comfort with digital communication tools, online meeting platforms, and learning technology interfaces. • Relevant experience in education counseling, training, EdTech, or customer-facing roles is highly beneficial. • A bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Management, Psychology, or related fields preferred) and fluency in English; knowledge of additional Indian languages is an advantage. • Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, including flexible hours as per learner and business needs, with a strong commitment to ethical and inclusive practices.
