Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job description

Role: We are looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer with an Automation-First mindset who can independently drive automation, improve testing processes, and explore new tools and technologies. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test suites . • Identify repetitive manual testing and automate wherever possible . • Perform UI, API, integration, regression, and E2E testing . • Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines and improve test reliability. • Analyze failures, debug issues, and collaborate with developers for resolution. • Drive R&D initiatives to evaluate and adopt better testing tools and approaches. • Improve test coverage, execution speed, stability, and maintainability. • Participate in requirement discussions and identify testing scenarios early. • Review automation code and mentor junior QA engineers. Required Skills • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright . • Good programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript . • Experience with Jenkins, CI/CD, Git/GitHub/GitLab . • Strong knowledge of API testing using Postman/Rest Assured. • Good understanding of SQL and database validation . • Experience with BrowserStack or similar platforms. • Familiarity with Jira and test management tools. • Knowledge of Docker, Appium, JMeter/Gatling, microservices is a plus.
