**Role Overview** Autocar Hindi is hiring a **senior on-camera face to anchor** its flagship video content: road tests, comparison reviews, long-format films, expert opinion pieces and high-profile interviews with industry leaders. This person will be one of the defining voices of the Hindi channel and is expected to bring both deep product knowledge and the industry relationships needed to consistently land the biggest stories. **Reporting & Team** • Reports to: Editor, Media Strategy, Autocar India • Works closely with: Editor, Media Strategy, Autocar India, the Autocar India and Autocar Hindi review team, Autocar Professional editorial team, video producer, presenters **Experience & Location** • 8–10 years of experience as an auto journalist, reviewer, broadcast anchor or video host with a clear focus on the automotive industry • Based in Gurgaon, with regular travel for drives, launches, factory visits etc • Work from office **Key Responsibilities** • Reviews: Lead road tests, first drives, comparison videos and long-format reviews of cars and bikes for Autocar Hindi, with editorial rigour matching Autocar India's print and digital standards. • Editorial voice: Set the tone for the Hindi channel- fact-led, road-tested, authoritative, and free of marketing agendas • Scripting & narration: Write or co-write video scripts in Hindi; deliver narration with clarity, confidence and editorial nuance • Mentorship: Guide the junior on-camera presenter and social media video creator on Hindi delivery, factual accuracy and editorial standards • Channel strategy: Contribute to the Hindi channel's content roadmap, formats, series, tentpole videos and seasonal calendar • Social Media: Creative ideas to increase social media following of Autocar Hindi Must-Have Skills • Deep, demonstrable product knowledge across Indian and global cars and bikes- segments, platforms, powertrains (ICE, hybrid, EV), regulations (BS-VI, CAFÉ, EV policy) • Proven ability to review cars and bikes: both subjective (driving feel) and objective (numbers, dynamics, value) • Strong industry relationships • Excellent on-camera communication in Hindi, authoritative but accessible; the kind of voice viewers trust on a buying decision • Editorial judgement: knowing what is news, what is noise, and what plays well as a long-form video • Strong social media skills • Ability to lead a shoot, set up the narrative, work with the producer and crew, deliver to deadline **Good-to-Have** • Bilingual delivery (Hindi + English) • Existing on-camera body of work with measurable audience traction • Added advantage: International drive experience and global motor show coverage • Fluency with on-screen data sales numbers, market share, segment trends and the ability to explain them simply **What You'll Get** • A defining on-camera role at the most authoritative auto media brand in India • Editorial backing of Autocar India and Autocar Professional • Access to the full review fleet, OEM drives and exclusive interviews • A senior seat in shaping the Hindi auto media space
