Senior SAP ABAP / Fiori Engineer

Job Description We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP / Fiori Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise SAP applications and solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP, ABAP CDS, SAP UI5, SAP Fiori, and SAP S/4HANA, along with a strong understanding of software development lifecycle, application architecture, testing, integration, and deployment. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain SAP applications and solutions. • Understand customer requirements, use cases, and business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions. • Design and develop scalable software solutions using appropriate technologies and frameworks. • Create high-level application architecture and technical designs. • Develop and maintain backend applications, APIs, and integrations. • Develop user-friendly and interactive interfaces using SAP UI5 and SAP Fiori. • Work extensively with SAP ABAP and ABAP CDS. • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Designers, and cross-functional engineering teams. • Define and implement software testing strategies and ensure quality standards. • Follow Agile development methodologies and modern software engineering practices. • Apply TDD, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery practices where applicable. • Optimize application performance and continuously improve existing solutions. • Follow security practices to safeguard application and user data. • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend appropriate solutions. • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members. Required Skills • SAP ABAP • ABAP CDS • SAP UI5 • SAP Fiori • SAP S/4HANA • Strong software development and troubleshooting skills • Experience with software architecture and technical design • Experience working in Agile environments • Good understanding of testing, CI/CD, and software engineering best practices • Strong problem-solving and communication skills Experience • 10+ years of overall IT experience • 8+ years of software development experience • Strong hands-on experience in SAP development • Experience working with multiple programming technologies/languages is an advantage. • Ability to guide and mentor other engineers. Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.
