Senior Software Engineer

Job description

**Key Responsibilities :** - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java. - Build and optimize distributed systems and microservices. - Drive system design and architecture decisions. - Lead code refactoring and engineering best practices. - Mentor team members and conduct code reviews. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. **Required Skills:** - 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development. - Strong expertise in **Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate** . - Strong experience with **MySQL, Redis, and MongoDB** . - Hands-on experience with **distributed systems** and **microservices architecture** . - Strong understanding of **System Design, OOP, Design Patterns, and Multi-tier Architecture** . - **Must have been involved in designing systems from scratch since the beginning of their career, with hands-on ownership of architecture and scalable solution design.** - Experience leading large-scale code refactoring and engineering improvements. - Strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills. - Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence. **Preferred Skills :** - Experience in **D2C, FMCG, or Unicorn/Product-based startups** . - Exposure to **AWS, GCP, or Azure** is a plus. - Experience working in Agile environments with large-scale applications.
