We are looking for a creative and data-driven **Social Media Strategist** to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and executing social media strategies, content planning, community management, and managing multiple social media platforms. You will be responsible for driving brand awareness, audience engagement, and business growth through impactful social media campaigns. **Role & responsibilities** - Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business objectives. - Create monthly content calendars and oversee content planning across platforms. - Manage and grow brand presence on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, and emerging channels. - Plan, schedule, and publish engaging content in collaboration with design and content teams. - Monitor community interactions by responding to comments, messages, and customer queries in a timely manner. - Build and nurture online communities to enhance customer engagement and brand loyalty. - Track campaign performance using analytics tools and prepare performance reports with actionable insights. - Stay updated with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices. - Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to execute integrated marketing campaigns. - Monitor competitor activities and recommend innovative strategies to improve social media performance. - Manage influencer collaborations and user-generated content initiatives where applicable. **Preferred candidate profile** - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. - Minimum **3 years of hands-on experience** in social media strategy and execution. - Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices. - Experience in content planning, campaign management, and community engagement. - Proficiency in social media management and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite). - Working knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics and platform insights. - Excellent copywriting, communication, and storytelling skills. - Basic understanding of paid social campaigns is an added advantage. - Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience working with D2C brands. - Knowledge of influencer marketing and social listening tools. - Creative mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Certifications in Digital Marketing or Social Media Marketing are a plus.
