Role & responsibilities • Support the Manager, Category Management and Category Lead in implementing category strategies across Professional Services, including Law, Finance, Consulting, and HR Services categories. • Prepare category intelligence, market research, supplier benchmarking, and analytical insights to support category strategy development and partner engagement. • Assist sourcing activities by preparing Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), and Requests for Proposal (RFP), conducting bid analyses, and evaluating supplier responses. • Summarize sourcing and supplier relationship management outcomes through comparative analysis of supplier responses, pricing, and evaluations to support decision-making. • Maintain category plans, opportunity analyses, supplier relationship management materials, and procurement documentation within the central repository. • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, compliance reviews, audit support activities, and enhancements to procurement policies, templates, and training materials. • Support tail spend management, category refresh reviews, supplier validation checks, and category development initiatives using internal and external data sources. • Demonstrate responsiveness and accountability by managing category requests, providing timely updates, and raising issues when needed to support service delivery standards. Preferred candidate profile • Bachelors degree in a relevant field of study and experience in procurement; experience within Pharma or BioPharma preferred. • Working knowledge of category management principles, including sourcing, procurement, planning, supplier interactions, and negotiations. • Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Oracle. • Experience with Source-to-Pay (S2P) platforms such as Oracle, Zycus, GEP, Ariba, or similar platforms preferred. • Experience with ServiceNow and iCertis or similar contract lifecycle management platforms preferred. • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for communication, presentations, and data analysis. • Experience with spend analytics software preferred. • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
