This role is responsible for identifying and onboarding new sellers, expanding product categories, and strengthening partnerships to grow Snapdeal’s presence in the value commerce segment. Day-to-day activities include market research, prospecting potential business partners, negotiating commercial terms, and managing stakeholder relationships to achieve sales and growth targets. The Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as category management, marketing, operations, and analytics to ensure successful execution of business initiatives. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, optimizing processes, and providing regular reports and insights to leadership. **Qualifications** - Strong business development and sales skills, including prospecting, lead generation, and partner relationship management. - Experience in negotiation, contract management, and closing commercial agreements with external stakeholders. - Market research and analytical skills to evaluate opportunities, understand competition, and interpret performance data. - Knowledge of e-commerce, retail, or FMCG sectors and familiarity with value-focused consumer segments. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners. - Ability to work towards clear targets, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage. - Prior experience in business development, key account management, or category expansion, preferably within e-commerce. share your resume 8955019426
