Engineer- Battery Homologation & Compliance

Job description

Responsibilities: • Own battery homologation end-to-end per program—plan, agency test, certificate closure • Pre-homologation inspection and sign-off of every pack before dispatch • ARAI / ICAT coordination: slot booking, witness tests, deviation closure • Own the post-T0 dispatch release decision • Maintain compliance documentation and traceability to the released BOM revision • Allocate and track homologation test packs against the build plan Qualifications: • B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering . • Relevant experience in EV battery pack homologation and compliance . Required Skills: • Good understanding of battery pack compliance, testing, and certification processes. • Ability to read and interpret battery pack drawings, specifications, and BOMs . • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills. • Good documentation and tracking skills. • Understanding of EV battery pack architecture and safety requirements will be an added advantage.
