Job Description: Lead Payroll Coordinator India Payroll (Contract) Location: Hyderabad, Gachibowli Contract Duration: 1 Year (Extendable) Payroll:- Allegis Group Shift Timing: 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM Rate Card: 650/Hour Notice Period: Immediate Joiners or Candidates Serving up to 15 Days Notice Preferred About the Role Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced Lead Payroll Coordinator to support and manage India Payroll operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in payroll processing, statutory compliance, payroll audits, and payroll systems such as Workday, SAP, ADP Global View, PeopleSoft, and ServiceNow. Key Responsibilities • Manage end-to-end India Payroll Operations and ensure timely and accurate payroll processing. • Perform complex payroll analysis, payroll reconciliations, and validation of payroll outputs from Gross-to-Net calculations. • Support and guide payroll processing activities, including Workday payroll configurations, testing, and implementation. • Handle Full & Final Settlements (F&F) and employee lifecycle payroll activities. • Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, including Income Tax, PF, PT, ESIC, LWF, NPS, Gratuity, and Statutory Bonus. • Prepare, review, and validate monthly payroll inputs and payroll-related MIS reports. • Generate reports related to CTC variance, headcount, payroll quality, and salary revisions. • Manage onboarding payroll activities, including statutory enrollments and employee validations. • Support internal and external payroll audits and provide required documentation/artifacts. • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and payroll system enhancement projects. • Create technical requirements for payroll system implementations and process improvements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve payroll issues and improve operational efficiency. • Provide guidance, mentorship, and day-to-day support to payroll team members. Required Qualifications • 4+ years of experience in Payroll Operations, HR Operations, Payroll Tax, Accounting, or related functions. • Strong experience in India Payroll Processing and statutory compliance. • Hands-on experience with Full & Final Settlements (F&F). • Good understanding of Indian labor laws and taxation regulations. • Experience in payroll audits and payroll reconciliations. • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills • Experience with Workday Payroll. • Knowledge of SAP Payroll / ADP Global View. • Exposure to PeopleSoft and ServiceNow. • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications. • Experience handling statutory returns filing and compliance reporting. • Ability to adapt to changing business requirements and processes. Education • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, HR, Finance, or a related discipline
