Production Engineer - Optic Fiber

Job description

Role & responsibilities • Operate and monitor optical fiber draw tower operations • Achieve production targets, yield, productivity and OEE • Monitor critical process parameters and fiber quality • Troubleshoot process abnormalities and production issues • Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Process Engineering & Utilities teams • Analyze downtime, rejection and production losses • Drive RCA, CAPA, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives • Ensure compliance with SOPs, EHS, quality systems and 5S • Coordinate shift activities and manpower deployment Preferred candidate profile • Knowledge of Optical Fiber drawing processes, Process Control, Instrumentation, OEE, Production Reporting. • Knowledge of PLC/HMI, Sensors, Drives, Motors, Temperature Controllers will be advantageous.
