SAP ABAP on HANA / OData Developer Location: Lucknow, India Company: HCLTech Experience: 3+ Years About the Role HCLTech is seeking a talented and motivated SAP ABAP on HANA / OData Developer to join our SAP practice in Lucknow. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP ABAP development, hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA , SAP S/4HANA , OData Services , and exposure to SAP BTP development. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge SAP transformation and digital innovation projects for global clients. Key Responsibilities • Develop, enhance, and support SAP applications using ABAP on HANA and SAP S/4HANA technologies. • Design and build scalable technical solutions based on business requirements. • Develop and maintain OData services for SAP Fiori and enterprise integrations. • Utilize HANA database capabilities to optimize custom developments and improve application performance. • Develop custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, conversions, and workflows. • Build and deploy applications and extensions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) . • Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust technical designs and solutions. • Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and solution architecture activities. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across SAP landscapes. • Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. • Prepare technical specifications, design documents, and development standards documentation. • Support testing activities, deployment, and post-production stabilization. Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills • Minimum 3+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development . • Strong hands-on experience in: • SAP ABAP • ABAP on HANA • SAP S/4HANA • OData Services • Recent project experience (within the last 2 years) working on SAP S/4HANA and/or ABAP on HANA . • Experience developing applications utilizing HANA database features such as: • CDS Views • AMDP • HANA Optimized Programming • Performance Optimization Techniques • Strong experience in custom development, enhancements, interfaces, reports, and forms. • Hands-on experience with development on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) . • Experience integrating SAP applications through APIs and OData services. • Good understanding of SAP Fiori architecture and application integration.
