Job description

• Role: Payroll Specialist • Designation: Senior Analyst • Location: Airoli, Navi Mumbai • Shift- Day shift 10 to 7 , however it will be in night shift for couple of days at the month end • Experience Required: • Minimum 1.5+ years of relevant Payroll experience • Overall experience: 2+ years MustHave Qualifications & Skills • Any graduate with 1.5+ years of relevant experience • Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder communication • Strong understanding of federal and state wage & hour laws, taxation rules, and statutory compliance • Knowledge of taxable vs. nontaxable earnings, reimbursements, and expense components • Demonstrated understanding of payroll trends, best practices, and service delivery models • Strong proficiency in Excel, numerical aptitude, and general technical savviness • Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail • Indepth knowledge of payroll tax laws, PF, and complex employee benefit programs impacting payroll • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Handson knowledge of: • PF, ESIC, Gratuity, MLWF • New Wage Code • Sodexo • Car Fuel Allowance Role & Responsibilities: • Should possess good compliance knowledge on PF, ESIC, Gratuity, MLWF, New Wage Code, Sodexo, Car Fuel Allowance. • The candidate should also know about PF/ESIC portal and liaise with the authorities • Ensure accurate and timely completion of statutory and tax audit requirements to meet statutory and internal deadlines. Ensuring all returns on Income tax and stat are filed on time • Ensure all the current process are compliant as per latest stat and government laws. • Payroll inputs collation communicate with all internal teams to ensure accurate reports are send to Payroll vendor • coordination with vendor team to reconcile the payroll output • To ensure correct Full and final salary processing for all exit employees • Partner with IT to optimize system functionality and exploit opportunities for automation; • Oversee Leave and Attendance Management/Time keeping • Partner with Human Resources to facilitate the accurate and timely processing of leaves of absence as well as changes to employee benefits; • Oversee the preparation of all payroll related reports, including governmental and regulatory filings; • To be aware of Apprentice program and drive this for the company registration , claim process etc. • Monitor compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations; • Analyze payroll processes and controls, identify efficiencies, drive change, and manage priorities. • To be updated with any development in stat/government laws and implement the changes as required • Liaise with Finance teams and send all data required by the company finance team on Payroll and stat requirement • Will be the single POC for providing updates to Senior management on Payroll and stat requirements Interested candidates can share the resume at farheen.chabru.c@eclerx.com
