Job description

The HR Associate Employee Relations & Disciplinary Compliance will be responsible for managing employee disciplinary processes, handling misconduct cases, supporting domestic inquiries, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and organizational policies. The role requires strong documentation, investigation, communication, and stakeholder management skills to maintain workplace discipline and mitigate organizational risks. Key Responsibilities Employee Discipline & Case Management - Draft, review, and issue disciplinary communications including: - Show Cause Notices - Warning Letters - Charge Sheets - Advisory Letters - Counseling Memos - Other corrective action notices - Handle employee misconduct, behavioral issues, and policy violation cases in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. - Conduct preliminary fact-finding and gather relevant evidence for disciplinary matters. - Coordinate with business stakeholders and managers to address employee misconduct and performance-related concerns. Domestic Inquiry & Disciplinary Proceedings - Assist in conducting domestic inquiries and disciplinary proceedings. - Coordinate with inquiry officers, management representatives, and employees involved in investigations. - Maintain proper records and documentation related to inquiries, witness statements, and proceedings. - Ensure fair process and adherence to principles of natural justice during disciplinary actions. Compliance & Governance - Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, industrial relations regulations, standing orders, and statutory requirements. - Monitor adherence to company policies, code of conduct, and disciplinary procedures. - Support internal audits and compliance reviews related to employee relations matters. - Provide guidance to managers on disciplinary processes and legal compliance requirements. Documentation & Record Management - Maintain accurate and confidential records of disciplinary actions, investigations, employee grievances, and compliance matters. - Prepare reports, case summaries, trackers, and management updates on employee relations cases. - Ensure proper filing and retention of disciplinary documentation as per organizational and legal requirements. Employee Relations Support - Support the resolution of employee grievances and workplace conflicts. - Foster positive employee relations while balancing organizational compliance and disciplinary standards. - Work closely with HRBP, Legal, and Business Leaders to manage sensitive employee matters effectively. Experience - 3+ years of experience in Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, HR Compliance, or Disciplinary Case Management. - Experience in handling disciplinary actions, domestic inquiries, and labor law compliance preferred. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Timely closure of disciplinary cases. - Accuracy and quality of disciplinary documentation. - Compliance adherence and audit readiness. - Reduction in repeat misconduct cases. - Timely issuance of notices and disciplinary communications. - Maintenance of complete and accurate case records. - Stakeholder satisfaction in employee relations matters.
